How It Works
DiamondBack Truck Covers are the toughest covers in the industry. We needed a coating process to match. The DiamondBack-X coating procedure is a 3 part process.
- Prep – All aluminum covers are first sand blasted to create a clean rough surface for the LINE-X® to adhere to.
- LINE-X Coat – LINE-X material is sprayed 1/16" thick to cover the exterior of the covers. The coating dries in seconds forming a permanent bond with the truck cover that makes this coating almost impossible to get off.
- Xtra top coat – While the LINE-X material is still curing (after it dries to the touch) the DuPont™ Kevlar® top coat is applied. XTRA coating is specially formulated to chemically bond into one color composite urethane coat.
