How It Works
DiamondBack Truck Covers are the toughest covers in the industry. We needed a coating process to match. The DiamondBack-X coating procedure is a 3-part process.
- Prep: All aluminum covers are first sandblasted to create a clean, rough surface for the LINE-X® to adhere to.
- LINE-X Coat: LINE-X material is sprayed 1/16" thick to cover the exterior of the covers. The coating dries in seconds, forming a bond with the truck cover that makes for a very durable finish.

While the LINE-X material is still curing (after it dries to the touch) the DuPont™ Kevlar® top coat is applied. Aspart-X coating is specially formulated to chemically bond into one color composite urethane coat. -
